The average import price for tomatoes; prepared or preserved otherwise than by vinegar or acetic acid stood at $2,030 per ton in June 2023, picking up by 13% against the previous month. Overall, import price indicated a notable expansion from June 2022 to June 2023: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +4.7% over the last twelve-month period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period.
