The average tobacco; "homogenised" or "reconstituted" export price stood at $2,772 per ton in August 2023, surging by 3.5% against the previous month. Over the last twelve months, it increased at an average monthly rate of +2.4%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in May 2023 when the average export price increased by 32% against the previous month. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $2,802 per ton; afterwards, it flattened through to August 2023.
