The average import price for sugar confectionery; (excluding chewing gum, including white chocolate), not containing cocoa stood at $4,351 per ton in October 2023, declining by -3.4% against the previous month. Over the last twelve months, it increased at an average monthly rate of +2.0%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in September 2023 when the average import price increased by 8.9% against the previous month. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $4,504 per ton, and then shrank modestly in the following month.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Poland ($8,469 per ton), while the price for Ukraine ($2,476 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
