The average export price for steel, alloy; ingots and other primary formses stood at $1,993 per ton in 2022, jumping by 31% against the previous year. In general, the export price recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when the average export price increased by 77% against the previous year. The export price peaked at $2,308 per ton in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
