In July 2023, the average import price for spices; ginger, crushed or ground amounted to $3,540 per ton, reducing by -1.8% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price saw a perceptible decrease. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in April 2023 when the average import price increased by 13% against the previous month. The import price peaked at $4,641 per ton in July 2022; however, from August 2022 to July 2023, import prices failed to regain momentum.
