The average import price for soap and organic surface-active products in bars other than for toilet use stood at $833 per ton in 2022, waning by -15.8% against the previous year. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The total import volume increased at an average annual rate of +1.1% over the period from 2019 to 2022; the trend pattern remained consistent, with somewhat noticeable fluctuations in certain years. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 with an increase of 25%. As a result, imports attained the peak of 20K tons, and then declined in the following year.
