The average export price for rubber; vulcanised (other than hard rubber), gloves other than surgical gloveses stood at $10,423 per ton in 2022, falling by -7.6% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, continues to indicate a prominent expansion. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 an increase of 45%. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $11,284 per ton, and then declined in the following year.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major foreign markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Germany ($14,548 per ton), while the average price for exports to China ($6,722 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the UK (+11.4%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
