The average import price for rubber; vulcanised, conveyor belts or belting, reinforced only with textile materialses stood at $5,263 per ton in 2022, increasing by 25% against the previous year. Over the period from 2012 to 2022, it increased at an average annual rate of +2.1%. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2017 when the average import price increased by 45%. The import price peaked in 2022 and is likely to see steady growth in the near future.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was the Netherlands ($7,026 per ton), while the price for Kosovo ($3,547 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Kosovo (+20.1%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

In November 2023, the average export price for rubber; vulcanised, conveyor belts or belting, reinforced only with textile materialses amounted to $7,066 per ton, surging by 14% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the export price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in January 2023 when the average export price increased by 25% month-to-month. The export price peaked at $9,386 per ton in April 2023; however, from May 2023 to November 2023, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major export markets. In November 2023, the country with the highest price was Italy ($14,320 per ton), while the average price for exports to the Czech Republic ($5,450 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From November 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Italy (+8.4%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, after three years of growth, there was significant decline in supplies from abroad of rubber; vulcanised, conveyor belts or belting, reinforced only with textile materialses, when their volume decreased by -10.3% to 2.6K tons. Over the period under review, imports, however, saw significant growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when imports increased by 122% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of 2.9K tons, and then dropped in the following year.
