In December 2021, the average export price for printed matter in single sheets, whether or not folded amounted to $3,529 per ton, with an increase of 2.3% against the previous month. Overall, the export price, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in August 2021 an increase of 91% against the previous month. The export price peaked at $6,538 per ton in January 2021; however, from February 2021 to December 2021, the export prices failed to regain momentum.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was the Netherlands ($24,225 per ton), while the average price for exports to Thailand ($2,095 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From December 2020 to December 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Indonesia (+9.9%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
