In 2022, the average export price for photographic plates, film, paper, paperboard and textiles, exposed but not developeds amounted to $2.3 per square meter, shrinking by -13% against the previous year. Overall, export price indicated a moderate expansion from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +4.3% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, export price for photographic plates, film, paper, paperboard and textiles, exposed but not developeds increased by +25.2% against 2017 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 an increase of 84% against the previous year. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $2.8 per square meter. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs in 2022 and is likely to see gradual growth in the near future.

The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2020 with an increase of 33%. The exports peaked at 974K square meters in 2021, and then reduced notably in the following year.

In value terms, exports of photographic plates, film, paper, paperboard and textiles, exposed but not developeds dropped sharply to $1.4M in 2022. In general, exports, however, saw strong growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 when exports increased by 59%. As a result, the exports attained the peak of $2.6M, and then contracted sharply in the following year.
