The average import price for mollusc preparations; octopus, prepared or preserveds stood at $18,504 per ton in September 2023, declining by -20.9% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in August 2023 when the average import price increased by 41% m-o-m. The import price peaked at $24,745 per ton in April 2023; however, from May 2023 to September 2023, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

From May 2023 to September 2023, the the average export prices failed to regain momentum.

As there is only one major export destination, the average price level is determined by prices for Switzerland.

From December 2022 to September 2023, the rate of growth in terms of prices for France amounted to +15.5% per month.
