The average import price for peat; (including peat litter), whether or not agglomerateds stood at $157 per ton in 2022, picking up by 46% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price, however, showed a pronounced reduction. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the peak figure at $205 per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.

The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period.
