The average import price for peat; (including peat litter), whether or not agglomerateds stood at $409 per ton in June 2023, remaining stable against the previous month. Overall, the import price, however, showed a noticeable setback. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in October 2022 an increase of 18% m-o-m. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the maximum at $574 per ton in June 2022; however, from July 2022 to June 2023, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
