The average export price for organo-sulphur compounds; thiocarbamates and dithiocarbamateses stood at $8,078 per ton in July 2023, picking up by 5.4% against the previous month. Over the last twelve months, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.7%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in September 2022 when the average export price increased by 13% m-o-m. The export price peaked at $9,408 per ton in November 2022; however, from December 2022 to July 2023, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major external markets. In July 2023, the country with the highest price was Belgium ($15,070 per ton), while the average price for exports to the Czech Republic ($4,773 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to France (+3.4%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average import price for organo-sulphur compounds; thiocarbamates and dithiocarbamateses stood at $11,857 per ton in July 2023, picking up by 5.1% against the previous month. In general, import price indicated a prominent expansion from July 2022 to July 2023: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +7.8% over the last twelve-month period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on July 2023 figures, organo-sulphur compounds; thiocarbamates and dithiocarbamates import price increased by +55.8% against November 2022 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in August 2022 when the average import price increased by 47% against the previous month. The import price peaked in July 2023.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was the United States ($15,350 per ton), while the price for France ($2,357 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Germany (+11.4%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
