The average export price for offal, edible; of bovine animals, (other than tongues and livers), frozens stood at $2,125 per ton in October 2023, reducing by -4.9% against the previous month. In general, the export price, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in November 2022 when the average export price increased by 13% m-o-m. Over the period under review, the average export prices hit record highs at $2,332 per ton in June 2023; however, from July 2023 to October 2023, the export prices failed to regain momentum.

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major foreign markets. In October 2023, the country with the highest price was Israel ($4,423 per ton), while the average price for exports to Cote d'Ivoire ($899 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From October 2022 to October 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Israel (+6.5%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
