Price for Non-Soap Washing and Cleaning Preparations in Uruguay (FOB) - 2022

In 2022, the average export price for non-soap washing and cleaning preparations amounted to $1,520 per ton, surging by 4.3% against the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, saw a slight decrease. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 when the average export price increased by 16%. The export price peaked at $1,713 per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Brazil (-1.0%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.

In 2022, the average import price for non-soap washing and cleaning preparations amounted to $992 per ton, picking up by 13% against the previous year. In general, the import price, however, saw a perceptible slump.
