The average import price for non-plasticised mixed polyvinyl chloride in primary forms stood at $1,386 per ton in 2022, rising by 7.1% against the previous year. Over the last decade, it increased at an average annual rate of +1.2%. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 an increase of 26% against the previous year. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the maximum in 2022 and is likely to see steady growth in the near future.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Italy ($1,572 per ton), while the price for Bosnia and Herzegovina ($860 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Bosnia and Herzegovina (+5.0%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

In November 2023, the average export price for non-plasticised mixed polyvinyl chloride in primary forms amounted to $1,228 per ton, increasing by 1.8% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the export price, however, saw a mild downturn. The growth pace was the most rapid in August 2023 when the average export price increased by 5.5% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the average export prices hit record highs at $1,473 per ton in January 2023; however, from February 2023 to November 2023, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
Average prices varied somewhat for the major overseas markets. In November 2023, the countries with the highest prices were Turkey ($1,559 per ton) and Albania ($1,480 per ton), while the average price for exports to Croatia ($1,048 per ton) and the Czech Republic ($1,090 per ton) were amongst the lowest.
From November 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Russia (+1.0%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.
Imports of Non-Plasticised Mixed Polyvinyl Chloride in Primary Forms in Serbia
After three years of growth, supplies from abroad of non-plasticised mixed polyvinyl chloride in primary forms decreased by -12.6% to 2.4K tons in 2022. Overall, total imports indicated prominent growth from 2019 to 2022: its volume increased at an average annual rate of +11.9% over the last three-year period.
