The average import price for music, printed or in manuscript, whether or not bound or illustrated stood at $38,509 per ton in July 2023, surging by 18% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price, however, recorded a noticeable downturn. The growth pace was the most rapid in May 2023 an increase of 106% against the previous month. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $67,728 per ton. From June 2023 to July 2023, the average import prices failed to regain momentum.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In July 2023, the country with the highest price was the Netherlands ($64,834 per ton), while the price for South Korea ($16,591 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Poland (+2.2%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.
