In 2022, the average import price for molluscs; octopus (octopus spp.), live, fresh or chilleds amounted to $10,566 per ton, flattening at the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price, however, showed a perceptible curtailment. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 when the average import price increased by 27%. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the maximum at $13,448 per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, import prices remained at a lower figure.
