The average import price for mollusc preparations; mussels, prepared or preserveds stood at $4,639 per ton in 2022, dropping by -4.8% against the previous year. Overall, the import price, however, saw buoyant growth. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2016 an increase of 737%. The import price peaked at $6,110 per ton in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
