Over the period from July 2022 to July 2023, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.5%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in August 2022 an increase of 27% month-to-month. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $1,875 per ton. From September 2022 to July 2023, the average import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was the United States ($2,989 per ton), while the price for the Czech Republic ($952 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the United States (+6.5%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
