The average import price for lubricating preparations not for the treatment of materials stood at $5,749 per ton in February 2022, dropping by -2.8% against the previous month. In general, the import price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in March 2021 an increase of 56% month-to-month. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $8,709 per ton. From April 2021 to February 2022, the average import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In February 2022, the country with the highest price was the Netherlands ($10,788 per ton), while the price for Brazil ($2,513 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
