Price for Lift, Elevator, Stairway and Dragline in Turkey (FOB) - 2023
In July 2023, the average export price for lifts, elevators, moving stairways and draglines amounted to $17,144 per unit, with an increase of 38% against the previous month. Overall, the export price showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in April 2023 an increase of 54% month-to-month. The export price peaked at $17,416 per unit in December 2022; afterwards, it flattened through to July 2023.
Average prices varied noticeably for the major external markets. In July 2023, the highest price was recorded for prices to Ukraine ($17,226 per unit) and the United Arab Emirates ($17,226 per unit), while the average price for exports to Morocco ($16,310 per unit) and Kazakhstan ($16,925 per unit) were amongst the lowest.
From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Germany (+0.1%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

In July 2023, the average import price for lifts, elevators, moving stairways and draglines amounted to $19,414 per unit, reducing by -21.4% against the previous month. In general, the import price showed a mild slump. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in December 2022 an increase of 50% m-o-m. The import price peaked at $40,299 per unit in March 2023; afterwards, it flattened through to July 2023.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Germany ($26,181 per unit), while the price for India ($7,833 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Spain (+4.0%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Exports of Lift, Elevator, Stairway and Dragline in Turkey
Lift, elevator, stairway and dragline exports from Turkey surged to 13K units in 2022, jumping by 29% against the previous year. Over the period under review, total exports indicated a prominent expansion from 2019 to 2022: its volume increased at an average annual rate of +17.6% over the last three-year period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, exports increased by +62.7% against 2019 indices. As a result, the exports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

As a result, the exports reached the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
