The average export price for inorganic acids; other than hydrogen fluorides stood at $4,958 per ton in November 2023, which is down by -69.2% against the previous month. Overall, the export price recorded a slight contraction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in June 2023 an increase of 158% against the previous month. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $24,568 per ton. From July 2023 to November 2023, the the average export prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In November 2023, the country with the highest price was Vietnam ($29,182 per ton), while the average price for exports to Indonesia ($1,469 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From November 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Vietnam (+14.0%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
