In July 2023, the average inner tubes, of rubber import price amounted to $5.9 per unit, declining by -21.8% against the previous month. In general, the import price recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in September 2022 when the average import price increased by 103% against the previous month. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the peak figure at $7.6 per unit in June 2023, and then contracted significantly in the following month.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In July 2023, the country with the highest price was Spain ($12.2 per unit), while the price for South Korea ($4.2 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Spain (+1.6%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was the UK ($28.9 per unit), while the average price for exports to Romania ($1.5 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Spain (+7.5%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
