In July 2023, the average inner tubes, of rubber export price amounted to $1.7 per unit, dropping by -2.3% against the previous month. Overall, the export price showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in May 2023 an increase of 11% m-o-m. The export price peaked at $1.9 per unit in August 2022; however, from September 2022 to July 2023, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was the United Arab Emirates ($4.4 per unit), while the average price for exports to Madagascar ($457 per thousand units) was amongst the lowest.
From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the United Arab Emirates (+3.1%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average inner tubes, of rubber import price stood at $5.2 per unit in 2022, declining by -8.4% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price, however, recorded notable growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2013 an increase of 232% against the previous year. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $12 per unit. From 2014 to 2022, the average import prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Italy ($40 per unit), while the price for Sri Lanka ($1.4 per unit) was amongst the lowest.

The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when exports increased by 46% against the previous year. As a result, the exports attained the peak of $104M, and then dropped in the following year.
