In September 2023, the average import price for imines and their derivatives; salts thereof; other than chlordimeform (ISO) amounted to $6,554 per ton, falling by -12.8% against the previous month. In general, the import price showed a slight setback. The growth pace was the most rapid in December 2022 an increase of 233% against the previous month. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $24,039 per ton. From January 2023 to September 2023, the average import prices failed to regain momentum.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Hungary ($33,289 per ton), while the price for China ($4,496 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From November 2022 to September 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Hungary (+2.8%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.

In general, the export price, however, enjoyed moderate growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when the average export price increased by 93%. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $8,559 per ton, and then contracted rapidly in the following year.

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Montenegro ($31,845 per ton), while the average price for exports to Bosnia and Herzegovina ($4,700 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Montenegro (+3.3%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.
