Price for Homogenised Composite Food Preparations in Thailand (FOB) - 2023

The average homogenised composite food preparations export price stood at $3,170 per ton in May 2023, which is down by -8.3% against the previous month. Overall, the export price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in December 2022 an increase of 44% month-to-month. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $4,435 per ton. From January 2023 to May 2023, the the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major external markets. In May 2023, the country with the highest price was Malaysia ($8,240 per ton), while the average price for exports to the Philippines ($1,101 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From May 2022 to May 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Malaysia (+19.1%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
