In 2022, the average import price for halides and halide oxides of non-metals; excluding chlorides amounted to $24,963 per ton, with a decrease of -27.5% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price, however, enjoyed a noticeable increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 an increase of 72% against the previous year. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $34,438 per ton, and then contracted sharply in the following year.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Lithuania ($120,000 per ton), while the price for Russia ($12,337 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Lithuania (+10.5%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the average export price for halides and halide oxides of non-metals; excluding chlorides amounted to $14,357 per ton, remaining relatively unchanged against the previous year. In general, the export price, however, recorded a deep reduction. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2017 when the average export price increased by 0.7%. The export price peaked at $44,088 per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
As there is only one major export destination, the average price level is determined by prices for Russia.
From 2012 to 2022, the rate of growth in terms of prices for Egypt amounted to +6.6% per year.
