The average grapes; fresh or dried import price stood at $2,659 per ton in September 2023, almost unchanged from the previous month. Over the last twelve-month period, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.9%. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in December 2022 an increase of 40% m-o-m. The import price peaked at $3,337 per ton in June 2023; however, from July 2023 to September 2023, import prices remained at a lower figure.
Average prices varied somewhat amongst the major supplying countries. In September 2023, the highest price was recorded for prices from France ($3,204 per ton) and Spain ($2,993 per ton), while the price for Turkey ($2,177 per ton) and Greece ($2,474 per ton) were amongst the lowest.
From September 2022 to September 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Italy (+2.1%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Poland (+22.6%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
