In 2022, the average grapes; fresh or dried import price amounted to $1,250 per ton, shrinking by -4.8% against the previous year. Overall, the import price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 when the average import price increased by 9.9%. The import price peaked at $1,362 per ton in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2022, import prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was the United States ($3,540 per ton), while the price for Turkey ($496 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
