The average grapes; fresh or dried import price stood at $1,923 per ton in September 2023, shrinking by -8.1% against the previous month. In general, import price indicated measured growth from September 2022 to September 2023: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +2.2% over the last twelve months. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on September 2023 figures, grapes; fresh or dried import price decreased by -22.1% against April 2023 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in December 2022 when the average import price increased by 48% m-o-m. Over the period under review, the average export prices hit record highs at $4,102 per ton in 2021, and then contracted rapidly in the following year.
