In December 2023, the average import price for frozen raspberries, blackberries, mulberries, loganberries, black-, white- or red currants and gooseberrieses amounted to $3,034 per ton, rising by 7.2% against the previous month. In general, the import price, however, showed a pronounced reduction. The import price peaked at $4,797 per ton in April 2023; however, from May 2023 to December 2023, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Germany ($3,943 per ton), while the price for China ($1,389 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From December 2022 to December 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Spain (-0.5%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.

The average export price for frozen raspberries, blackberries, mulberries, loganberries, black-, white- or red currants and gooseberrieses stood at $5,109 per ton in December 2023, picking up by 33% against the previous month. In general, the export price, however, showed a noticeable curtailment. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in May 2023 when the average export price increased by 119% against the previous month. The export price peaked at $11,777 per ton in August 2023; however, from September 2023 to December 2023, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major export markets. In December 2023, the country with the highest price was Kuwait ($6,616 per ton), while the average price for exports to Belgium ($3,942 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From December 2022 to December 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the Netherlands (+6.3%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, purchases abroad of frozen raspberries, blackberries, mulberries, loganberries, black-, white- or red currants and gooseberrieses decreased by -38.3% to 16K tons, falling for the second consecutive year after two years of growth.
