In January 2024, the average export price for frozen cuts and edible offal of domestic duckses amounted to $5,683 per ton, rising by 22% against the previous month. In general, the export price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in August 2023 when the average export price increased by 27% against the previous month. The export price peaked at $6,524 per ton in November 2023; however, from December 2023 to January 2024, the export prices remained at a lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Japan ($7,303 per ton), while the average price for exports to Cambodia ($1,300 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From January 2023 to January 2024, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the United Arab Emirates (+5.5%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

As there is only one major supplying country, the average price level is determined by prices for Hungary.

From December 2022 to December 2023, the rate of growth in terms of prices for Hungary amounted to +0.4% per month.
