Price for Flours and Meals; of Soya Beans in Austria (FOB) - 2023

The average export price for flours and meals; of soya beanses stood at $1,615 per ton in September 2023, remaining relatively unchanged against the previous month. Over the last ten-month period, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.3%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in April 2023 when the average export price increased by 9% month-to-month. The export price peaked at $1,687 per ton in May 2023; however, from June 2023 to September 2023, the export prices failed to regain momentum.

Average prices varied somewhat for the major export markets. In September 2023, the highest price was recorded for prices to the UK ($1,778 per ton) and Senegal ($1,616 per ton), while the average price for exports to Morocco ($1,311 per ton) and Algeria ($1,492 per ton) were amongst the lowest.

From November 2022 to September 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Saudi Arabia (+1.9%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
