The import price peaked at $74.7 per unit in December 2023, and then contracted slightly in the following month.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In January 2024, the country with the highest price was Germany ($338 per unit), while the price for Ireland ($44.9 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From January 2023 to January 2024, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Germany (+9.7%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 when imports increased by 51% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of $613M, and then shrank remarkably in the following year.
