The average import price for electric motors and generators stood at $18.4 per unit in January 2024, picking up by 17% against the previous month. In general, the import price showed a relatively flat trend pattern. As a result, import price attained the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Japan ($55.8 per unit), while the price for India ($1.9 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
