In January 2024, the average import price for cycles; parts thereof, wheel rims and spokeses amounted to $4,255 per ton, with a decrease of -25.4% against the previous month. Overall, the import price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in February 2023 an increase of 41% m-o-m. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the peak figure at $7,114 per ton in April 2023; however, from May 2023 to January 2024, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Portugal ($13,317 per ton), while the price for China amounted to $3,156 per ton.
From January 2023 to January 2024, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by China (-0.3%).

The export price peaked in 2022 and is likely to see steady growth in the near future.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Romania ($13,973 per ton), while the average price for exports to Syrian Arab Republic ($4,665 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Jordan (+155.4%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
