In November 2023, the average import price for cycles; parts, pedals and crank-gear, and parts thereoves amounted to $43,682 per ton, growing by 33% against the previous month. In general, the import price, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in August 2023 an increase of 63% m-o-m. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $61,677 per ton. From September 2023 to November 2023, the average import prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In November 2023, the country with the highest price was Japan ($98,529 per ton), while the price for the Czech Republic ($10,778 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From November 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Germany (+10.2%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average export price for cycles; parts, pedals and crank-gear, and parts thereoves stood at $51,788 per ton in 2022, declining by -10.4% against the previous year. Overall, export price indicated a tangible increase from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +2.6% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, export price for cycles; parts, pedals and crank-gear, and parts thereoves increased by +1.8% against 2020 indices. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2016 an increase of 56% against the previous year. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $83,908 per ton. From 2017 to 2022, the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was the UK ($103,496 per ton), while the average price for exports to Portugal ($23,875 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
