The average import price for cumin seeds, neither crushed nor ground stood at $1,334 per ton in June 2023, shrinking by -21.4% against the previous month. In general, the import price saw a perceptible slump. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in February 2023 when the average import price increased by 20% month-to-month. From July 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by China (+3.2%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period.
