The average export price for cumin seeds, crushed or ground stood at $2,568 per ton in 2022, rising by 24% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, showed a deep downturn. The export price peaked at $4,900 per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
