The average import price for crustacean preparations; shrimps and prawns, prepared or preserved, not in airtight containerses stood at $7,548 per ton in 2022, with a decrease of -5.4% against the previous year. Over the period from 2012 to 2022, it increased at an average annual rate of +1.5%. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2013 when the average import price increased by 9.4%. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs at $7,982 per ton in 2021, and then dropped in the following year.
