The average export price for cereal groats; meal and pelletses stood at $1,270 per ton in September 2023, falling by -8.8% against the previous month. Over the period under review, export price indicated a mild expansion from December 2022 to September 2023: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +1.2% over the last nine months. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on September 2023 figures, cereal groats; meal and pellets export price increased by +71.1% against January 2023 indices. The growth pace was the most rapid in February 2023 when the average export price increased by 30% m-o-m. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the maximum at $1,393 per ton in August 2023, and then contracted in the following month.
