In June 2023, the average export price for carbonates; peroxocarbonates (percarbonates); commercial ammonium carbonate containing ammonium carbamates amounted to $352 per ton, falling by -2.5% against the previous month. In general, the export price recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in July 2022 an increase of 14% m-o-m. Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the peak figure at $467 per ton in August 2022; however, from September 2022 to June 2023, the export prices remained at a lower figure.

Average prices varied noticeably for the major export markets. In June 2023, the highest price was recorded for prices to Oman ($413 per ton) and Sri Lanka ($376 per ton), while the average price for exports to Saudi Arabia ($348 per ton) and Indonesia ($350 per ton) were amongst the lowest.
