The average books, brochures and leaflets import price stood at $20,703 per ton in August 2023, leveling off at the previous month. Over the last twelve-month period, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.1%. The growth pace was the most rapid in February 2023 when the average import price increased by 13% m-o-m. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $22,052 per ton. From March 2023 to August 2023, the average import prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was the UK ($29,180 per ton), while the price for the Czech Republic ($6,820 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From August 2022 to August 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Germany (+1.8%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

The export price peaked at $22,312 per ton in July 2023, and then reduced in the following month.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major external markets. In August 2023, the country with the highest price was the United States ($34,676 per ton), while the average price for exports to Canada ($14,833 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From August 2022 to August 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the United States (+9.0%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.
