In 2022, the average books, brochures and leaflets export price amounted to $11,799 per ton, dropping by -14.1% against the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2017 when the average export price increased by 19% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the average export prices hit record highs at $13,742 per ton in 2021, and then contracted in the following year.
Average prices varied noticeably for the major foreign markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the highest price was recorded for prices to the United States ($11,799 per ton) and Greece ($11,799 per ton), while the average price for exports to the UK ($11,799 per ton) and Spain ($11,799 per ton) were amongst the lowest.
