Price for Blankets and Travelling Rugs in Turkey (FOB) - 2023
The average blankets and travelling rugs export price stood at $11.8 per unit in September 2023, surging by 46% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the export price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The export price peaked at $14.8 per unit in November 2022; however, from December 2022 to September 2023, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Egypt ($7.7 per unit), while the average price for exports to Denmark ($1.5 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From September 2022 to September 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Sweden (+8.4%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

In September 2023, the average blankets and travelling rugs import price amounted to $8.4 per unit, shrinking by -48.7% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price showed a deep setback. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in October 2022 an increase of 202% m-o-m. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $97.4 per unit. From November 2022 to September 2023, the average import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Pakistan ($7.0 per unit), while the price for India ($3.9 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From September 2022 to September 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Algeria (0.0%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.
