Price for Blankets and Travelling Rugs in Kenya (CIF) - 2022
The average blankets and travelling rugs import price stood at $5.2 per unit in 2022, waning by -6.8% against the previous year. In general, import price indicated a pronounced expansion from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +2.1% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, blankets and travelling rugs import price increased by +18.1% against 2018 indices. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2014 an increase of 45%. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the peak figure at $7.4 per unit in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2022, import prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Indonesia ($66 per unit), while the price for China ($2.6 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
