In 2022, the average bedspreads; knitted or crocheted export price amounted to $5.1 per unit, falling by -6.2% against the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2016 when the average export price increased by 88%. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the maximum at $9.9 per unit in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2022, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
Average prices varied noticeably for the major overseas markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the countries with the highest prices were Russia ($5.6 per unit) and France ($5.3 per unit), while the average price for exports to China ($5 per unit) and Germany ($5.1 per unit) were amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the United States (+3.4%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.
