The average bedspreads; knitted or crocheted import price stood at $5.4 per unit in August 2023, shrinking by -8.5% against the previous month. In general, the import price recorded a mild descent. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in March 2023 an increase of 38% month-to-month. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $9.1 per unit. From April 2023 to August 2023, the average import prices failed to regain momentum.
Average prices varied noticeably amongst the major supplying countries. In August 2023, the highest price was recorded for prices from Hungary ($6.1 per unit) and Spain ($5.5 per unit), while the price for China ($5.1 per unit) and Thailand ($5.5 per unit) were amongst the lowest.
From August 2022 to August 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Hungary (+0.6%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.

The average bedspreads; knitted or crocheted export price stood at $12 per unit in 2022, declining by -7.3% against the previous year. Overall, the export price saw a drastic downturn. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 when the average export price increased by 71%. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $59 per unit. From 2017 to 2022, the average export prices remained at a lower figure.
Average prices varied somewhat for the major export markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the highest price was recorded for prices to Germany ($13 per unit) and Poland ($13 per unit), while the average price for exports to Greece ($9.9 per unit) and Qatar ($10 per unit) were amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Israel (+4.9%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
